Last night I saw anti-war demonstration in both coast of USA, that in Washington was a huge population.
I hope haven�t another war any more. I think if world boycott our oil can find better result than a fight, what�s your opinion?

I think you are underestimating the faith and will of the majority of the American people. We can, and will survive without your oil. How does oil provide food, shelter, or clothing? Or for that matter gold? What security does owning it provide? What good will it do you? If I have meat,fruits, vegetables, and the Lord to sustain me, what good is your oil or gold? Think about it.

Oil provides shelter, food and clothing, to those who work in the industry....
And meat fruit and vegetables would be grown,heated and cooked with oil...
This isn't about 'owning'...it's about sharing. And understanding that when push comes to shove, we all share this planet, we all have a right to live peaceably on it,and to get along with our neighbours.
It should never be about 'Have'and 'Have Not' though of course, it always is.
I also know that a vast number of Americans hate this war, hate any war, and don't want war.

The way to achieve lasting Peace is to stop loading the gun...
You don't harness and promote Peace by supression and ndomination.

I see Jane Fonda is out there again, hard to believe. I liked her better as Cat Ballou and Barbarella. She was a stunning woman in her day.

The protesters are free to express their opinions, but that should not include spitting on Iraqi vets. This is uncalled for and does not present a coherent argument for action.

I believe that Americans should try stop depending upon oil. That will solve many problems in the world.

Nice statement. I think we can find a better way than war to solve problems.
Although I must confess that when USA attacked Afghanistan and Iraq I were supportive.

I think it is easier to talk about stopping depending on oil than it is to do so. I live near a number of agricultural areas (actually, where my house is was a strawberry patch until about 60 years ago) and I see more and more of what used to be farm fields producing food turning into stores and houses and much of what used to be fields of food turning into fields of landscaping plants. The vast majority of food available in the grocery store are imported from other countries and that importation takes oil.
