I'm the JobSearch Forum moderator and JobSearch Editor. I"ve cleaned out the old forum messages, as you can see. I'm hoping for more discussions on this forum, not just ads for "work at home" jobs.

I'd also like to focus my bellaonline articles on your needs -- and that's how you can help. Periodically I'll post a question here and your answers will give me ideas about what to write. I'll try to address them in my columns in the upcoming weeks. Here's today's question:

Credit checks. Its been a long while since I've looked for a job. The last time out, no one I encountered ran credit checks as part of the background check. Now it seems hey all do.
