I don't know about Adderall effecting pregnancy. If you are in fact pregnant your doc will let you know if you should be on it.

As far as if you are... Normally (not in all cases) you usually won't get pregnant while you're days before, during or right after your period. If you've started your period your body has already begun to "flush" out what you've got in there already. In a normal cycle most women get pregnant 11-14 days before their period.

If you're really concerned take a test, you can get them for less that $10.

If you aren't sure if you are pregnant, I would have a pregnancy test done. You can do an "at home" one, or go to places like a crisis pregnancy center or planned parenthood where they do the tests for free, and keep your information confidential.

Adderal is categorized Pregnancy category C. As for antidepressants, risk factors vary for these meds.

It is important you contact your physician immediately if you think you are pregnant. Some medications are more risky in the first trimester than others. Yet depending what the meds are for the risks to the baby may not outweigh stopping the medication for the patient.

Please call you doctor before you stop your meds and get a pregnancy test done ASAP.

Have a blessed day-

If you are pregnant you will really need to evaluate how badly you need your medications. Adderall is a big unknown. Antidepressants are proving to be a real problem in pregnany and for the newborn. How big of a problem depends on what antidepressant. If you can wean yourself off that would be ideal, but depression can also be a serious illness. You will have to weigh the benefits against the risks, and look at any alternatives.

Good luck!
