I want Angels and Demons by Dan Brown and Paulo Coehlo's The Alchemist.

These are my all time favorite books. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

The Amulet of Samarkand would make a good movie. I really enjoyed the book.

Devil in the White City by Erik Larson - not only is it true, it's really creepy.
Angels and Demons would be good one. I thought they did a pretty good job with DaVince Code.

My book club read "Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America" by Erik Larson last month and I think this would make a great movie - though it would be long!

It is two stories entwined together and is a true account of the Chicago world fair and the hunt to find a serial killer that is haunting the city.

Angels and Demons is being made into a movie. It's suppose to come out in 2009 and star Tom Hanks and Naomi Watts.

A book I'd like to see made into a movie is The Mercy of Thin Air by Ronlyn Dominique and A Girl Like Che Guevara by Teresa Doval.

Arrowsmith by Sinclair Lewis

It's been done before, but I'd love to see a modern version.

I would tell you, but I'm already adapting two books for the screen. I do it purely for my own pleasure to write scripts, but it would be nice if I got up the courage to go get an agent and try to sell them, wouldn't it?

I did just watch Wuthering Heights tonight, it's one of my favorite books. Heathcliff is probably my all-time favorite literary character. I've always been so in love with him (twisted, I know, but isn't that the point?)

Anyway, I didn't really like it. I was confused at times, and I think I know the story very well! I'm going to have to reread it.

I must say, though, even though I was not impressed with Juliette Binoche, Lord Voldemort made a fantastic Heathcliff.
