Hi, I'm not new but haven't been around for quite awhile. Haven't crocheted much lately but have some things I need to make for grandkids. One of these things I need to make is a tree skirt for GD. She wants a pineapple design, the one she saw has several panels and each one is a pineapple. Do any of you know where I could find a pattern like this?

I'm also looking for a link to a site I used to go to all the time for free pattern. Lost it and really miss having it. It was Starchaser or something like that. Really just a collection of links to a lot of patterns. If any of you have it would you please share?

Thanks in advance for your help in these things!

Have you looked on http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com ? There are a lot of pineapple patterns, and treeskirts under 'Christmas' but unfortunately I can't see the two combined!

I've had a look at the link section here to make sure that there were no broken ones or any that you weren't seeing but I can't find a reference to starchaser I'm afraid.

Thanks all for looking for me. I've still not found the pattern that "speaks" to me. I have a year so I'm going to keep looking and if I can't find one I may have to try to come up with one of my own!

Does your GD have a site or a place to see a picture of the tree skirt.
You may even draw a design and post it here so we can give a look and even ask some of our other contacts.

It's in the Free Pattern section on the site under Martha (Stargazer) so it'll be easy to find (hopefully!) in the future.

CrochetQueen, That's the site I was looking for! Thank you so much for posting the link, I've got it bookmarked now. Hope I don't loose it this time.

I don't have a picture of the tree skirt. I saw it once but couldn't get my hands on it to see how it was made. I do know it's made with a light weight yarn. I'll check out the link and see if I can find it there.

Thanks!

I wanted to let everyone know that I found a pattern. Mother Hen shared one with me I think I can modify. Plus I spoke to my GD again and found out where she had seen the skirt. I went there and found the woman who had made it and she is going to look for the pattern for me! When she finds it I'll share for anyone else who would like it.

Thanks so much to everyone who helped me!
