I use Thomson textbooks for my classes whenever I can and I also participate in their pilot programs to assign CPE credit for CPA continuing ed.
I just got done testing a course covering Small Business Schedule C and F Expenses. I learned something new - used to be if you had more than 1 vehicle that you used for business you had to use the actual cost method.
This changed as of 2004 1040s - up to four vehicles (not taxis or the like) and you can still opt to use the standard mileage rate.
