I am looking at making a portable water fountain to go up against a blank wall inside my small flat. I am wondering if I can do this myself quite simply or whether it is easier to buy one already manufactured.

I have limited space. It would be around abouts 1200mm high, 600mm/700mm wide, by about 400/500 deep.

Is this possible? and where should I start.

Very possible. I do think it would be easier to buy one tho. It would already be plumbed and need only to be plugged in. Unfortunately I don't speak metric, so I have no idea what your space is. But where ever you buy your wall fountain will speak your math language and be able to help you. Best of luck.
