Every once-in-awhile something is not clear in a recipe (what me make a mistake?!). This is the place to ask those questions.

Good to know... hope you are ready for me LOL.
I am constantly finding myself out of milk when a recipe calls for milk. Is there some combo of water & butter or something I can use? I am not much of a cook so if there is a way, please let it be simple <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> You are talking to somebody who once blew up a turkey.

Ha! I love it--Blew up a turkey!
On the milk question it would depend greatly on what you're making. Sometimes you can use a combination of flour and butter to get the flavor and consistency.
I stopped using milk in most of my bread recipes, even if the recipe calls for it. I use water and a tad more canola oil.
