BellaOnline Forums Computers Web Design Software better than Dreamweaver

I am using Dreamweaver to design and modify my website. I find it very useful, but some of the codes are to be entered manually. Can anyone suggest any software that does all the work automatically.

There are other programs out there like Golive from Macromedia, which I think Adobe and Macromedia merged, then theres that new programs from microsoft, I forget the name but its a package and comes with a whole bunch of publishing things. But I think Dreamweaver might be the default site creater that all web designers use, well not all but you know what I mean. what do you mean by adding in manual code?

Front page has worked very well for me. There is alos a free version of Page breeze, that seems to have a lot of bells & whistles.

I know what you mean about adding manual code - though Dreamweaver IS the industry standard. Coffee Cup is supposed to be quite good as well.

I personally only use manual code - I need to feel totally in control of my code....but if I was going to use an editor, it would be Dreamweaver...then I WOULD modify the finished code manually...probably in notepad rather than right in the program.
