I am a newly Betta Mom and I have grown to love my "Ruby" AKA Shaine.....anyways, I recently began to notice that beneat his mouth seems to be getting white even the sides close to his eyes......(I don't remember if he had came home with this condition but I am now allot worried....can someone please tell me whats wrong with my baby?

hoooo also he has been acting eratic lately rubbing his mouth up and down the tank. and not giving me the usual responses that I am acustom to.

Betta is Rubbing along the tank single choice

Google some pictures of betta fish with ich and compare it to what you see on yours. Maybe it is something you didn't notice before??

Sounds like mouth fungus but can't be sure without pictures.

thanks SadieG...I tried looking for pics however none clear enough for me to see..But I will continue to check that out.

Hi PaPeRo, I have been noticing that he seems to be stretching his mouth while under water.... could that be a sigh or is that a norm?
