In this catalog is a pattern for a poncho with a cowl neck. Well, it looks like a turtleneck to me and I have figured out how to do that but am trying to figure out what stitch is used in the body of the poncho. I have a "V" stitch pattern I got from Crochet Pattern Central I think I can use but would like some input from some other crocheters as to what you think the stitch used is.
Thanks!
Can you guess I don't want to buy the kit from them, want to chose my own color and yarn.

Thats it on the 2nd. page. Don't need it, have several other projects going on but sure like the way it looks! I know that's a good price for it, if it was a color I would use, I tend to stick to colors that are more versatile. So the only thing is to do it my-self with another yarn! I thought it looked like the "V" stitch, what is an 8 Bar?

That is a pretty poncho. I would love to know how they crocheted the cowl neck! Too bad you can't just buy the pattern.
