Ok. Realistically, TNA is not going to challenge WWE for the poistion of No1 Wrestling Compnay in the USA for quite a while. However, WWE must be looking over their shoulder.
Surely TNA are picking up new Audience whenever people watch it.

Case in point. During may absence from here (I was back in Australia), I had time to show my Brother (a HUGE WWE fan) a DVD I'd put together from a few matches from ROH and TNA.
I was trying to convert him as a Samoa Joe fan. And whilst that was not successful, he did spend the whole 3hrs on the edge of his seat, not believing what he was seeing.

His comment "WWE had better watch there back". My Bro might not be a Samoa Joe fan, but he can see the difference between good wrestling and the 2-3hrs of Filler that WWE give us.

He's seen Jerry Lyn in WWE. He saw Mat Stryker in WWE. And none of them were very impressive. To say he was surprised at their in ring skills would be understating it. (By the way, the Jerry Lyn matches were when he won the X-Div belt. So some time ago).

TNA's got the talent (AJ, Angle, nearly all the X-Div guys, Great Tag Teams, etc), and they're not afraid to use them. I just don't understand why WWE has 'always' had a policy of restricting what the Talent is capable of performing. Look out WWE, Lift your Game!

By the way, Anyone miss me?

Of course we missed you Tik!

I think the WWE will really be looking over their shoulders if TNA gets more time. The primetime debut was pretty good, especially with the extended time, and it would be good to see what they could do consistently with a longer time every week.

Like I said somewhere else, as long as TNA keep playing up their strengths - like the XDivision - they are going to get more and more attention.

Ya man, welcome back. I think TNA just has to stop making dumb choices and do things that makes sense. A lot of what got me turned off of wwe was there were plenty of things that just didn't make sense. TNA is doing the exact same & is making me not want to watch the program. But like you said, the talent level is Phenomenal (no pun intended).

Cheers Crew. Good to hear that you guys are still keeping this Forum Real.

Last night on Indonsian Satellite TV they had the "Bound for Glory" PPV. Unfortunately I'd had a big day surfing and was just Bombed out. The PPV didn't start till really late, so by 1.30am I just couldn't stay awake any longer. Still had 2 hrs to go. Did I miss out on a Great PPV or didn't I miss anything?

I didn't see that ppv. I believe that was the one in Detroit. I did see the one previous & the one after it. The one before it was one of their better ppv's imo, & the newest one, I don't quite remember as I didn't pay much attention to the card, just mainly the main event & certain matches.

TNA has a ways to go. They do have the talent but their creative/booking staff is still lacking. I think TNA has gotten worse lately and the storylines have been lame. I am actually not really all that into it and I was very much so before.

I still appreciate their great talent but the rationale behind some storylines stumps me.

Not that the same thing doesn't happen with WWE...

My satelite company in Bali has recently dropped WWE.
There was quite some backlash over kids copying moves on their mates at school etc. (The disclaimer "Please, don't try this at home" is in English, few people here speak or read english). So first it disappeared from Free to TV, and now from the satelite service. I haven't seen WWE for some time now. I did see some ECW stuff on the other day though.

I'm still a big Shooter for TNA. Some storylines are lacking, but I still really enjoy the matches and I like that when I watch an hour of TNA wrestling, most of it is spent in the ring and not back stage or too much on the Mic.

Angle's presence has been good and Sting is looking as good as ever. One thing I have noticed is that the X-Div is starting to become second Banana to the HeavyWeight boys.
This is a mistake as TNA was built on the X_div crew, and that is where almost all the new more exciting talent lies.

Which is the biggest, stupidest mistake you could ever make. Trying to compete with the WWE by showing off your heavyweight division which is no better or different than theirs is not going to make people want to watch you. The X-Division is something that grabs people's attention and makes them want to stay watching - being different will set them apart. But Russo is a creative genius and apparently being a poor man's WWE is apparently the direction he wants to go in...

*sigh*

I totally agree that taking focus off the X Division and putting it onto the big guys is all wrong. The X Division was what got TNA noticed and sets it apart from the rest.

Russo. Ugh. The whole VKM thing. They didn't copy THAT much from WWE when Russo was there did they? Sheesh. And the Oily Dancing Guy or whoever he is. RUSSO's humor...copied from WWE's fat dancing guy.

TNA is still solid and I am sorry they lost Cassidy Reilly to WWE but they have plenty of talent. They just aren't using it well at the moment.

Jarrett, Nash, Sting, and some others are taking center stage when they shouldn't. I like Angle, Rhino, Christian, and Joe but I also like good, fast X Division action.

Ratings are good (for TNA) though so people are starting to get hooked.

I just saw the preview for Wrestling Society X and it looks just like ECW did in the beginning. I can't wait to see what they offer.
