Have you been to China? China is developing, and Chinese women is more and more fashion than before. When I was teenage, women in China, even in the capital city, Beijing, just wore in two color, blue and black. And they hardly made up. Everyone live in a very simple way, just went to work and then went back home and cooked for the whole family. It was really a whole family, husband, children, mother in law, father in law, even the sisters or brothers in law. It was quite tired life style. I still remember my mama at that time, she worked in a factory which was very far away from the place we lived in. She always got home when it was completely dark outside. And she must cooked for us as soon as she arrived. Mama did not have any clothes. But she always sew clothes for me by herself.

But now everything is changed, every young girl has a sumptuous garderobe, lots of cosmetic, even for the old women, they are getting more and more modern. My mama, for example, she dyes her white hair once every month, and wears gold or silver even diamond jewelries.

Would you like to share your story about the changing women in your country?

Hi there, I came from a place/country where women aren't conservative at all. To some point maybe modest but not like the way you describe your women. The change? women here are becoming more and more clothes and make up junkies too! For me, nothing is bad as long as you keep those privates covered. (Have you noticed the latest trend in Hollywood, celebrities are airing it out)geesh

Have a super day, your post is cool

I can't imagine how the wonen will be like 100 years later. But the fashion in the whole world is going on the same way. It starts from one point, goes around a circle and then ends at the very begining. The qipao (a kind of Chinese traditional long skirt) for example, which was very popular before the Chinese revolution, after 1949, women's clothes China were changed and changed, then today qipao gets on the fashion stage again.
