How many cannolis does your Cannoli Filling Recipe make?

That would depend upon the size of your cannoli shells.

Chocolate Pistachio Cannolis

12 Servings

1/2 Pkg. of a 11.5 oz milk chocolate morsels
1 - 15 oz. Ricotta cheese
2 - 3 oz. cream cheese ... softened
2 T. Sifted confectioners' sugar
2 T. Chopped citron
1 tsp.Vanilla extract

12 Prepared 5-inch cannoli shells
1/3 cup. .. Finely chopped pistachio nuts

Melt over hot (not boiling) water. milk chocolate morsels.. stir until smooth.

Remove from heat... cool to room temperature.

In large bowl: beat ricotta cheese until smooth.

Add cream cheese - confectioners' sugar - citron and vanilla extract ... beat well.

Blend in melted morsels. Spoon into cannoli shells. Dip ends in nuts.

Chill until ready to serve.'

Makes 12 cannolis.

Does the recipe specify the size of the cannoli shells used? There a small, medium, and large size shells. That's why it's hard to make a blanket statement regarding the number any recipe makes.
