Hi Everyone,
My name is Susan Dorling and I'm the new editor for Fashion Jewelry�just began a few weeks ago. My goal is to keep giving you rich interesting content about jewelry in fashion, as did my predecessor, Chris Francetti.
As your new editor, I am very interested in your ideas and suggestions for articles and invite your comments about the site as well.
Today I am posting a short note to introduce myself and get a game going on the Forum. It's called the Alphabet Game and I hope to develop 26 new articles based on your posts.
This game will be about your favorite jewelry materials, whether gemstone, metal, organic materials, costume jewelry materials, etc. If you're stumped and can't think of anything that starts with the next letter, please post your favorite no matter what letter it begins with.
I will start with one of my favorites starting with the letter A and the next post from a forum member will be a jewelry material they like starting with B, etc. You can include why you like the material etc.
As mentioned, I will write an article based on every one of the posts (over the next couple of months) so your participation will help grow the site with content you are interested in.
I will kick it off with Aurora Borealis or AB Crystals as in Swarovski crystals, which I love because of the gorgeous sparkle that glamorizes evening wear, a business suit, or jeans.
This game is designed to be fun, and encourage participation from those of you who perhaps have not posted as yet, and our regular members, of course!
Thanks for your participation and I look forward to bringing you great articles and interviews with designers and retailers that are helpful, interesting, and entertaining. I also do a lot of online shopping and have some great finds to share with you.
