A few questions for the wise sages and Aeons out there...

First, at the north end of the Calm Lands, there is a soldier guarding a path that goes down (it's on the screen map), but he won't let Tidus down until "Something nifty starts". Can I ever get down there? What is the "something nifty?"

Second, I have Auron's Legendary weapon and both Mars things. How do I combine them?

Third, in the Monster Arena, I have captured ten of everything from all locations and have all the original creations, except for the last one. What do I have to do to get it? I have the "Ultima Buster" and it costs 25,000 gil to play it, but there's one more and I'm going nuts trying to figure out how to get it.

Last, who do I bribe to get more Dark matter?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

First you get the Cloudy Mirror by the Calm Lands(((((how u get this??? I do this after I get the airship so it's pretty easy at this point. Go back to the Calm Lands and get onto a chocobo, and ride it up to where you first enter the Calm Lands - to the far bottom of the screen. There's a chocobo feather to the bottom left. Press X on it to go off to a secret area.

To the left you'll meet a chocobo that talks about a race. You learn that you have to go past the various chests along the way and beat the chocobo to the center of course. Go to the right to start the race. If you beat him into the center you get the Cloudy Mirror which you use to construct the various Ultimate Weapons for your people. You can also hit the chests for extra goodies if you wish.))))) Now you take it back to the Macalania forest, in the lower part. There was a woman and boy there waiting for thier husband. The hubby was a room to the right and then up. Talk to him and he heads back to his family. Now of course the boy is missing.

Talk to the mom and dad SEVERAL TIMES, otherwise you'll have a lady blocking the shiny path. When they start to repeat themselves, you should be set. Head up the shiny path and you'll find the boy up in the middle.

Show the mirror there to turn it into a Celestial Mirror. Now you have to gather up the various ultimate weapon parts and bring them here to turn them into a true ultimate weapon. Each weapon consists of the base weapon plus two matching planetary pieces. A weapon won't work properly until you put all 3 pieces together.

The little path in the Calm Lands leads down to where you can get Tidus' celestial weapon, you can only get down there when you win the chocobo race against the trainer.

The last monster in the arena is Nemesis, and as long as you actually do have all of the monsters from all the areas, you should be able to unlock it - you might have to talk to the arena man a few times before though.

Oh, and the dark matter thing, you should have gotten 99 for unlocking ultima buster, and all of the original, species conquest and area conquest monsters in the arena should drop them occasionally. The only thing you can bribe them from is the land worm inside Sin for a ridicilous amount of gil, and once you go in there, you can't get out, so it's not that useful.

I wanted more Dark Matter so that I could give the Break Damage Limit to Tidus, as well as Auron. I got the 99 Dark Matters after completing the Species and Areas Quests and used 60 of them to give the Break Damage Limit to Auron first. I can get 2 of them occasionally for beating Catastrophe and Earth Eater and I'm slowly crawling back up to the 60 that I need.

I still can't get Nemesis to show up.

Now I'm playing Final Fantasy 12 and figuring out the new Battle System and drinking coffww all day because I'm getting 3 hours of sleep every night!

since u passed me i have a Question
i entered the cave where Yojimbo is and he asked for the money (that was before i get to the MT. Gagazet and before the airship) but i didn't have that amount of money so i left and continued my game hoping that i will get back when i collect the money.
ok then i got stucked in Seymore flux in MT. Gagazet and he was so had so i thought why i don't go back to the calm lands and check things there that may help me beating Seymore so i went back to the Cave of Yojimbo and before his room in it's entrance , some guy comes out of it and calls for Yojimbo ( i think it's the dark one) and we get in the fight but the problem is that i can't defete him cuz his HP: 17.000.000 or something like that and he attacks first and kills al my group with one hit ,, so i couldn't pass him to get Yojimbo.. then i got out and defeted Seymore and Yunalesca and got the airship ,, the i went back to this Dark Yojimbo again and still i couldn't defete him <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> ,, i read the Walkthrough in this site and in some other sites and the only thing it said that u only can defete the Dark Aeons with Yojimbo cus ( well i dunno y but i tried my aeons against Dark Valefore in Besaid and couldn't defete him).. anyway so plz if u can help me plz do

ehhh i wouldn't use dark matter to give everyone break damage limit, it's more fun to get all the celestial weapons which already have it.

Yah, Wakka's perfect attack reels with his strength 255 should do 99999 per attack reel hit, perfect = 12 x 99999=1.2 MILLION!!! if not try your luck with yojimbo, my first time lucky i got him to do Zanmato on Dark Valefor, lol. hope this helps
