Sorry I've been missing for so long and unfortunately, I may not be able to check the boards daily for a little longer yet - but I'll try.

I went into the hospital for a routine test and they ended up sending me to emergency where I was admitted and have now spent almost two weeks.

I've got a lung problem that may be related to my birds and I have some serious decisions to make. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Thanks Phillip & birdman.
I'm feeling much better now. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Most of my birds are in temporary housing with others until I can find a doctor who will actually do tests to see if they caused my breathing problems or not. Unfortunately, I had a doctor who decided it was the birds without any testing - just because I have birds.

I still have my African Grey Parrot, and can visit the rest of them whenever I want to.

Sometimes its just too easy to blame something that seems obvious even though there is no proof. I'm an asthmatic and years ago had a allergy test which said I was OK with feathers. If I have a bad time with my chest I don't blame it on the birds although I do sometimes wear a dust mask when I clean them out.

Good luck with the birds and finding a doctor to check everything out and I really hope that they aren't the cause as they are great companions.
