If Hillary wins the elections how would Bill Clinton feel? he has been the president. He may not be able to keep away from active role, but that would create relationship problems. he is the dominant male. how would he feel when his wife gets top treatment?
If Hillary wins, will the marriage survive?

Their marriage is a based on political gain. They were co-presidents when he was prez; if she wins the office, they will be co-presidents again.
Don't you remember him saying, "with us you get two for price of one"?
But that price is way too high...

If Hillary wins, will the marriage survive? Would you mind explaining just what you mean by that remark....? On the face of it, it seems sexist, divisive and very, very misinformed... You might consider relationships as dominant/submissive, and this may well be the case in your culture, CDM...But by very virtue of the fact that Hillary is exactly where she is - she is certainly not affected by a dominant male situation.... In fact, there are many who might argue the exact opposite...She knows exactly what stuff Bill is made of, and knows exacly how to handle him....I thin she is certainly not above using the situation to her advantage, if it suits her....

I made a general remark. All males think of themselves as dominant.

I made a general remark. All males think of themselves as dominant. Like that one.... What on earth makes you want to bracket people into identifying pigeon-holes? No, not ALL males think of themselves as dominant...and I know more than a few who would LIKE to think of themselves as dominant - but they are so far off the mark it beggars belief.... And yet again, there are some people who mistake Bullying for Dominance.... CDM,in order to engage in a meaningful discussion, it would help if you could review your own though patterns and decide whether they might be accurate or inflammatory...You were mentioning in another thread how discussions are apt to become confrontational and argumentatve... Sometimes, it isn't the aggressor who actually 'starts' it....

Bill will feel proud and vindicated. And he should. He got lucky with a partner (I love the way they use that word here in the UK as a general reference to a spouse.) instead of an underling for a spouse. The US wins with the two of them in the Whitehouse. Between them they have the nerve it takes to bring up the tough questions (like universal healthcare) that no other American politicians dare to bring forward, knowing that whoever brings them forward will be shot down, but that once we've started talking about the issue, we will eventually actually do something about it.
There are still a lot of urgent problems to be taken up. Global warming and the US's hogging the world's resources as the most urgent.
