Ok I have a nose ring...not a stud an actually nose ring...and I have no idea how to take it out. I got it at the end of August and now its Oct. 23, and unfortunately my school doesnt allow face piercing.

Before people decide to go on and on about how stupid I was for getting a face piercing when I know well enough my school doesnt allow it, thanks for that, I kind of figured it that out by now . What I need to know is how to take it out, effectively and in a way where I wont rip anything, like I have heard many times before.

If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated.

I've been dreaming about you in a pool of your own blood, with your eyes gouged out by the work of my thumbs. The scent of your insides, from under the floorboards. The perfect perfume for settling the score

It depends on how you put it in? I've had mine pierced for over a year, and everytime I take it out, it bleeds. So I think that it's something you can't get away from. My sister has had her's over 2 years, and her's still bleeds. Did you have to take a pair of plyers to close it? I've heard that you have to pull it apart, and put it in, then squeeze it together. Is that how you did your's. If so, rotate it, to separate it. If that's not how you did your's, then I'm afraid I can't help. And, btw, I think that nose rings are adorable. I don't think that it's stupid. And hopefully you can have it pierced later!

I don't understand why you don't know how to take your nose ring out.

If it's the style with a loop/hook fastening, the metal is certainly thin enough to be bent by hand. You just open the ring enough to not scrape your nostril and then slowly turn the wire until the ring is out of the piercing.

If it's a captured bead ring, you should be able to easily pop the bead out with finger pressure, which will leave a small gap in the wire where it was held. Then you bend the wire to make a larger space so that the wire can be removed from your nose.

I dnt have any nose piercings, but I do find them cute.
I have no idea how you got them in there but do be careful when removing them so that you dnt rip your nostrils.

okay i have a question of my own.
i have a nose ring as well, and i could never get the ball on the little opening. so i kept it off. one night, i'm assuming, it partially went inside the hole. and now there is a bubble, which one side of the ring is in. i can't get the end of the nose ring out, whether i push or pull. it's like it's attached, so i can't pull it out, and it hurts too much to just push through the bubble, it's too thick. any suggestions on what i sould do?
or should i just go to a doctor?

When all else fails, go back to the place where you got it pierced and any good piercer will be happy to remove it for you safely.

I had a failed nose piercing this year, once I took it out and let it heal I got the other nostril re-done...that was last week actually...and I couldnt be happier with it. I love nose rings so much I did it twice =D

I had a nose screw and when the girl finished piercing me she told me to come back in 6 weeks & she'd show me how to remove it. Unfortunately I had to take it out by myself the first time and had no idea how to do it! I managed to get it out, but I felt pretty dumb trying to twist & turn everything the right way! Darn mirrors....

[color:"blue"] I've read in a few places that nose screws can be difficult to get in and out. The girl that did my nose piercing said I could come back to the shop when the piercing was healed and she would show me how to manage it. I still have several weeks left before this point though. The longer I have the piercing the more the structure of the screw makes sense. At first I was terrified to let anything touch my nose lol [/color]
