Ah ok I looked them up on Wikipedia and they are the stuff that Mannatech hawks. I talked to a Mannatech vendor at a networking meeting one time. It's all about sugars. I then did up several pages about the sugars, here -

Whether you think they're vital or not is of course up to discussion <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Most of these sugars are found in veggies so if you eat healthy amounts of veggies, you get them already.
