Hi everybody, Can you think of 3 or more reasons why today is a great day and to be happy and thankful? <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I'm happy because 1. the sun is shining and it's a great autumn day 2. my mobile phone's sorted out 3. i'm having a great friends and family week-end coming up 4. my arts & crafts goodies are ticking along nicely 5. i've got a lovely part-time job working with good people 6. i'm looking forward to a nice cappucino and juicy piece of cake when i go out to do today's shopping It's your turn! I am doing wonderfully on my new diet and excercise program and have not cheated even once.
I am planning a halloween party for all of my friends and have a great costume.
I had a great time with my mother, brother and sister on a hayride on Saturday and my mom was so thrilled to have tim,e with just her and her children; it made me very happy.

This feels to be like such a wonderful, uplifting topic. I hope we can keep it going for a very long time indeed. <img src="/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> 1. I got a call from a company interested in hiring me for a possible voice over job! sent them my demo. fingers crossed. 2. It's quite sunny today. 3. The street market was thriving today--veg stalls, clothing stalls, such a vibrant alive atmosphere 4. had a really good cappucino and pannettone! 1. I discovered Deanna's website and enjoyed the beautiful pictures 2. Got a delivery today of some promo materials and they're really nice 3. Got an audition next Friday for v/over work! 4. My guy is giving up his morale-crushing, time-wasting, thankless job.... I received a glowing appraisal - one month into my three-month trial period, at work, I've lost three pounds in weight, in 4 days, by cutting all daytime carbohydrates...just porridge in the morning, then no carbs all day! I feel fresh and vibrant for it, too.... It's a beautiful, beautiful day.....

I got to explain to my 7 year old daughter this morning what "Black Friday" means here in the states LOL! We had to run an errand a bit ago and she said "Oh mom, I don't think we should go out - it's Black Friday!" HA HA....
I'm happy I didn't go shopping today!
I'm happy that I got a back rub this afternoon!
I'm happy my kids and I met our friends at the park!

I'm happy that I have wonderful parents, however they are not healthy... giving me a lot of headaches too. I just have to look at the positive side of issues that is happening in my life. I am happy because: I attended my friends graduation tonight and she received the award for perserverance to succeed and seeing her massive smile when she received that was so wonderful. I'm so proud of her and she deserved it. I live about fifty metres from the cheesecake shop - yummm! In moderation of course. yes.... moderation. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I just am happy. It's a wonderful feeling. I feel like I am exactly where I want to be in life at this moment. That to me brings a wonderful sense of achievement.

Can we start this thread up again. It always seems to be so uplifting.
I'm happy today because:
1. The weather's very nice today which means people can get out and about instead of staying alone, inside.
2. I have a lovely, kind hubby.
3. I'm feeling quite healthy and getting more exercise nowadays; which completes my circle of trying to keep my thyroid, etc. reasonably healthy and keeping myself feeling full of energy.
4. My finances are getting better and better!

I think this is a wonderful idea!
I'm happy today because:
1. I got my review of the Celestine Prophecy finished.
2. I've been exercising regularly and can see and feel the difference in my body.
3. I have plenty of fun new books to read.
4. My next Battelstar Galactica DVD is on its way from Blockbuster (Yes, I'm a new battlestar galactica fan!)
5. Our refinance on our house is almost done!

I'm happy because
1. I'm almost finished a painting that has taken longer than expected to complete, and I'm immensely pleased with how it's turned out.
2. My first tiny veges have popped their little heads out of the soil, three days after I sowed them! (supposed to be 6-7 days)
3. Our re-wiring of our house has now been done and, although it cost us a lot, we can now use several appliances at once without tripping the power. Plus we have air con and heating.

I'm happy that elle is almost finished with her painting...will you post a piccie when you're done please so we can all see it? I'm happy that the sun is shining AGAIN! (remember, I'm here in England, so this is a big deal...ha, ha) I'm happy because I feel like I'm just bursting with creativity, and I'm being led to ways to express it in my work and life. I'm happy because my pressie for my friend in the States reached her and she's really happy with it. Hooray!

It's my birthday!
I've been sitting in the sun reading my book, and have just come inside to bake myself some birthday cupcakes.

Thank you!  Chocolate mind ice cream...? My hubby cooked me salmon and calamari on the barbecue, which was delicious and made me very happy I have a Dean Koontz book waiting for me too. (Well actually two, but one's a library book). But I've promised myself I get to read my Robin Hobb book next (I have to get through the library books I took out first). It's delicious torture having an unread Robin Hobb book waiting on my bookshelf. It's book 2 of a series. And I got John Banville's The Sea for my birthday, which I'm also looking forward to reading. But Robin Hobb first. Books make me very very happy

Thank you! Chocolate mind ice cream...? My hubby cooked me salmon and calamari on the barbecue, which was delicious and made me very happy I have a Dean Koontz book waiting for me too. (Well actually two, but one's a library book). But I've promised myself I get to read my Robin Hobb book next (I have to get through the library books I took out first). It's delicious torture having an unread Robin Hobb book waiting on my bookshelf. It's book 2 of a series. And I got John Banville's The Sea for my birthday, which I'm also looking forward to reading. But Robin Hobb first. Books make me very very happy HA HA... ya know, chocolate MIND ice cream... it heals the mind HA HA... actually it was chocolate mint Which Dean Koontz book are you going to read? I've got "Forever Odd." I've never read anything by Robin Hobb... I'll have to check it out.

1. It's Spring here and the sun feels warm and bright and my new Jasmine smells remarkable!
2. My hubby and I went on a date last night while my kids spent the night with Nana.

2. My recording software has finally arrived so I can enjoy a little play around with tutorials

3 reasons for my happiness
1) I lost 1 kg

3) I got my website running
All these are manifested from my vision board. It is just amazing!

1. I am doing a diet to rid my body of toxins and I'm feeling better and better all the time (so glad I thought to do it!).

1. I went to the dentist today (that makes me happy because I haven't gone in a long time and I was expecting there to be much more problems than there was, and one of my fears is of dentists and doctors, so it was a big step for me)
2. It was gorgeous today!
