Hi everyone,

My name is Joseph K Little and I am the new Role Playing Games editor. Lloyd left some huge shoes to fill so I'm slightly intimidated, but bare with me and maybe this can be fun for all of us.

I'd like to keep things general and light. I've played a LOT of Dungeons and Dragons over the years, but I've played a sprinkling of this and that as well.

If you have any suggestion or comments please post them, and of course subscribe to the newsletter! (Just go to any article and put your email address in one of the newsletter subscription boxes).

Thanks!

JKL

Well skagwaybelle, I don't have any online games going at the moment, but I would point you towards www.dndonlinegames.com where you may find a large number of games.

Registration is free, joining a game is free, and playing is free. If you wish to become a community supporter there you get extended benifits though you don't have to do so (I never have).

Hope that helps.

Joe

Hi! I'm Malruhn (mall-ROON) from Jacksonville, FL. If anyone is interested, I can gen up an "Character Generation for D&D" thread/article.

I've been playing D&D in all of its forms since Basic D&D back in 1980... I've played with some other gaming systems, but have always fallen back into the familiarity that is D&D. With the new edition (3.5), almost all of my "house rules" that I had to use to make the old system make sense in a "real" world are gone. I've played with large groups and with very small groups (myself and one other person), and have almost always used my own adventures and campaigns.

If I can help anyone, just holler! I know Lloyd, so I know that Joe has some big shoes to fill - but I think he's going in the right direction.

Have a VERY happy new year!!
