This is the most recent version(part IV)and is being shown on BBCAmerica tonight at 8PM central and again at 11PM ...starring the ever so yummy Robson Green... ...if you have not seen him yet--lucky you...

This series is based on books by Val MacDermid. This particular book is called, "Torment of Others;" as is the TV show; Enjoy...

BTW: this is a dark and adult drama with violence and bloodshed so be warned...

Boy are you guys lucky !

We're still getting repeats of the 3 first series at a really dumb time on Showcase (3pm and 6pm western) on Saturday afternoons...

BBC America got the new series very quickly (it's just been on in the UK) because it was a co production. I'm going to try and find out when us poor Canadians will get to see it....

I love Robson too !

It isn't on BBCanada, well that sucks!? I do know they have entirely different program(m?)ing. There was a "Wire in the Blood" marathon two weekends ago which I missed. I was at my Mom's and no BBC. I would have recorded all of it to savor later...although I must say I prefer David Cregan to Tony Hill...did you ever see the US version Of "Touching Evil"? Now that Cregan was "creeeeeeepy"...

I am recording WitB right now...I watched bits and pieces of it while I watched "Heroes" and "Studio 60"( I admit it; I am a flipper)...it is as good as I expected although Tony is much more grounded now that Carol is gone..you know not such a "space case"...

Hey, you guys, enough ! I have severe Robson Green envy This is not fair...

I will have to content myself with David Tennant as Dr Who....to get my cutie fix...ahhhh. Oh well. Only on Monday nights

I have written to BBC Canada about Wire. However, I don't seem to recall them showing it before- I'm sure it was only on Showcase.

BBC Canada is a bit odd. Due to Canadian Broadcasting regs. they have to show 35% Canadian content. Most of what they show that is CanCon are home and decorating shows. It does take a big chunk of time when you're expecting British shows...

Cheers

No WinB on BBCanada; that sucks?! According to the Val mcdermid forum; Showcase does still have the rights to it in Canada...
