Once again, we're open to discussing this week's topic.
What do you think of my god?

In the bible it says: In "HIS" image God created them, MALE AND FEMALE He created them.

Wouldn't that tell you God has both male and female attributes, or that there is a God and Goddess?

I wonder a lot about translations, especially in the matters of number and gender.

In my imagining, I don't see It bound by gender, but as a complete consciousness with all the aspects we typically assign by gender.

In fact, it really makes very little sense to have a god bound by gender. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I think you have just fantasized about being a Deist.

Ancient mythology usually includes a mother figure. Gia, for instance. In the Xtian mythology this role is played by Mary however she is diminutive. It is interesting to see the south american indians transfer their goddess traditions. They don't pray to the Jesus character or a god, but to mother Mary

Not about being a deist, just about what I would hope for if somehow the existence of a deity became undeniable.
I don't consider that at all likely, but I am a fiction writer and so bound by the relentless pursuit of imagining.

You have to admit, though, that it is very far fetched.

Quite evident - There is no god.

Absurdly unlikely - We will find proof of a supreme being.

See, I am open to possibilities.
