Ancient mythology usually includes a mother figure. Gia, for instance. In the Xtian mythology this role is played by Mary however she is diminutive. It is interesting to see the south american indians transfer their goddess traditions. They don't pray to the Jesus character or a god, but to mother Mary
Not about being a deist, just about what I would hope for if somehow the existence of a deity became undeniable. I don't consider that at all likely, but I am a fiction writer and so bound by the relentless pursuit of imagining.
