I saw this poncho on ebay and was just curious if anyone knows how to make that kind of collar. It's different than the boatneck and V-neck collars that are more common. I kind of like this one.

Also, someone asked for a pattern for a hooded poncho in another thread. I'd like one as well... this seller has a pattern for a shawl/ponch and one of the versions is hooded. I'm just not sure about spending $20 for the pattern. What are your thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

I know the picture isn't the best in displaying the collar. It's the second picture over in the description. It's kind of a soft, roll-over collar.

I'm just baffled at how to create one like it. Any ideas? Is it a separate piece that has to be attached later?
