we fibro patients know how dear our 'heat' is to us. recently my new heating pad made by 'micro-core' caught on fire ON me. I had been hurting so badly I thought the extra heat felt good until I smelled burning.
as soon as I saw smoke I jerked it off and up in flames it went. I have a hole in my jeans and a scorched couch because of that.
this product is designed to also be unplugged to last a few hours on a trip and has a velcro waste band to keep it in place.
