I need some help with this:
I have my grandmother's wedding rings which is pretty much the only thing I have left from her since she passed on 5 years ago. She gave them to me before she died and my husband went to her when he was going to propose, so I wore them as "my" wedding rings during the course of my marriage. I have been divorced now for 2 years but because they were hers and are very sentimental, I still want to wear them, however, wear them on my right hand. In the aspect of social grace, I don't know if this is the correct thing to do tho. In other words, is this a tacky idea?
Thanks for the help to anyone who responds.
Dee

I don't know the proper thing to do here, but I would say that it is okay to wear them on your right hand. Do you have a daughter you can hand them down to?

Maybe you could still keep it and not wear it or like getsilver said, pass them to your daughter if you have one. But in modern times, no one would bother with what you are wearing so long it doesnt look like the conventional wedding ring
