I can't imagine a flying freehold. OY! If I own something, I want to own all of it...what's under me AND what's over me.
This sort of thing really gets to me where we're living. People sell their land, but not with mineral rights, so I could be sitting on top of a gas or oil deposit. I could get the inconveniences of all their equipment, but not the financial profits from it, even though their drilling could cave in my house.
Now, I just have to pray for a zillion bucks to come my way somehow <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I found a beautiful property in Ireland for sale the other day. 13,000,000...not sure if it was Euros or dollars, but am assuming Euros as it was an Irish real estate site. I can't even remember the name of the area it was in...doesn't matter, it was in Ireland <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
