I have always wanted to start this company/ business type thing for young mothers or single parents who have a hard time finding a place to live, a job and/or even childcare.

I want to find a large building in the area where I live. That atleast between 2 to 4 stories building. I want make the floors from 2 to 4 apartments for them. Then open 4 business on 1st floor.
Like a family resturant, childcare that is open 24/7 for working parents, a second hand store and other shop i haven't came up w/ yet.

I just wanted to know what everyone thinks about this. I am not single. I am married and have 3 kids of my own. But I feel the need to help these young women who are pregnant. Or single parents.
The Business they could work at so they do not have travel far to get work. We could help them try to finish their schooling if they wanted it. And many for things.
Please tell me what you think. Thanks <img src="/images/graemlins/fish.gif" alt="" /> [color:"purple"] [/color]

What do we think? I think it's a beautiful goal. It's never wrong to go where your heart leads you and do what you love. Those are the most successful ventures you will ever undertake.

Go for it!!

Hi, sorry to take so long to respond, we were busy moving.

I think if you can pull together the finances, that sounds like a rewarding endeavor. There was a program similar to that in my old town. It had a lot of government funding. You could check to see if you can hook up with sponsorships somehow. I think you really need to start with a business plan, and grow it.

Also our local one started small and grew over five years, infact it continues to evolve. Good luck!
