Here is a link to a flower pattern crochet poncho. Unfortunately it is not free but I have purchased several patterns from this seller and she is great. He patterns are very well written and alot of pics showing the steps. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

EVA, Is this pattern similar to your shawl/poncho on your website that is cream/linen colored? I think it is #ep021 on your medidit site.

I looks similiar... the Flower Stitch has a lot of interpretations out there. All anyone has to do is put in "Celebrity or Jessica Simpson" in Google and see how many hits the search brings up. I think Eva has done a wonderful job in her interpretation, and I'm making one from her direction.

here here!! I second that. and the other talented designers who have also provided us with their free renditions. I've even come up with my own interpretation, which i could not have done without the inspirational designs and techniques that were already out there. I still highly recommend the delta technique that can be bought at hassdesign.com
it helped me understand the blossom stitch, and how its manipulated into different patterns.

Yes it is, I am going to work on getting it up there today. It is the 8 bar stitch, if you have the Harmony guide to crocheting by Debra Mountford, it is on page 68. If you have The Harmony guide 220 more crochet stitches, vol 7, it is on page 38. I will still type out directions for the poncho. This was one of the reasons I asked what type of stitch guides everyone has, that way I could refer you to page numbers. If you don't have a stitch guide, you might consider getting them. They are invaluable and show not only the written out directions but also the symbol directions, which can be a huge help.
