Well, I am really still hoping to get some feedback from all of you! The latest article is about using homeopathy in pregnancy to treat minor discomforts, like nausea and such. So, I'd like to know.....what are you dealing with that is making pregnancy less than pleasant??
Let's see.....for me, it's been my back. The baby is getting bigger and my lower back just seems to spaz out periodically. It really hurts-but only a few more visits to the chiropractor before birth day.
I'd love it if you'd share, or even just introduce yourself. I am starting to wonder if there is anyone out there.....:)

Maybe all the pregnant women out here are just too sick or exhausted to participate...LOL!
I'm getting ready to have a baby boy in a few weeks and I know that pain in my hips from carrying around the extra weight has been the worst for me this time around. But it was a lot worse when I was pregnant with my twin daughters four years ago. My pre-pregnancy weight back then was about 100 lbs (I'm 5'1'') and by the time I got to 36 weeks, I was 153! I think everything hurt then.
I get the back spasms sometimes too, but I haven't had nearly the trouble with my back and knees that I had last time. I bought a magnetic bracelet at a fair early on in this pregnancy, and it really seems to be helping.

Thanks for writing, Michele!! When are you due? We can be buddies...I am "due" October 30th, so about 35 weeks right now. How cool that you can compare a twin pregnancy to a single one. I bet you do feel so much better in comparison. This is my third pregnancy and I have gained so much this time and am so much bigger. I really don't know why....of course, I have the secret fear that I have twins! I am assuming having twins really feels a lot different, but what do you think?? Is it so much different this time?? Good luck and hope to hear more from you!

Ok, preggie with #6 here (5th living), 34 wks.
This time it's been heartburn, actually GERD. It was really starting to affect my life negatively. I tried enzymes of all kinds, changing my diet, staying upright, papaya and apple cider vinegar. The only one that really helped was the apple cider vinegar but it made me sick in other ways as I had to take it constantly to get relief.
Finally I told my midwife and she told me to start taking prilosec and for the first time in about 5 months I DON'T HURT!!! Yay!!
Other than that it's the peeing every 10 mintues that gets to me, but I'm almost to the end!

This baby is due Oct. 19. I'm at about 36 1/2 weeks right now. This pregnancy doesn't feel all that different from the twin pregnancy. I've gained about as much weight with this one as I gained with the twins! With both pregnancies, I've spent the last few weeks sleeping on the couch because it's a lot easier to get out of and I can get more comfortable to sleep. I guess the obvious difference is that I have the twins to take care of while I'm dealing with all the "joys" of late pregnancy. Luckily, they started pre-school a few weeks ago and are gone all morning until noon, so I can catch up on housework and sneak in a nap before they come home.
Now that I think about it, I had them via c-section right at 36 1/2 weeks. At the start of week 36, I woke up in the morning and the right side of my face was paralyzed. It's called Bell's Palsy. The doctor thought it was caused by the fact that my BP was sky-rocketed. I recovered from it, but it marred the whole birthing experience for me. I haven't had the BP problems this time, so I'm hoping everything will run really smoothly for my c-section this time and I can actually enjoy the experience more.

Cool, we're all due around the same time.
I'm due with a little boy (I have 3 girls, 1 boy) on Nov 6 according to my doc. Biologically I'm due 10/31 according to LMP. I usually go a little early, anywhere from 1-2 weeks.
