I am so impatiently waiting for my first spinning wheel. So to pass the time, I am scouring the internet for cool spinning sites. And here I am!
I just order the Majacraft Rose about a week and a half ago.
Oh the waiting is killing me. I am sure I will be needing plenty of help with this new spinning adventure and hope that I will find some of the answers here.

Have you been handspindling or are you brand-spankin' new?

It finally arrived last Wednesday and No I was not a handspindler. I am brand spanking new, but have take to it already and am having tons of fun.

Sooo? How is it going? What are you spinning?

Well I just filled my second bobbin today and hope to begin plying soon. I am spinning a nice heathery gray wool blend that I got from a local farm. I have also thrown in bits of blue fiber here and there. I am just planning to use it to knit a felted bag so however it turns out will be fine by me.

so glad you could join us. I understand the wait being hard - I had to wait for my Jensen and I just about couldn't stand it. I had my Ashford to keep me company though, which was good.
