Yesterday... i made the worst and hardest decision i've ever made to my relation with my girlfriend... we broke up yesterday... now... im just wondering if my emotions could affect my lovies... like... watching me crying... cause by the pain...

I am so sorry. That is such a difficult thing to do and then have to live through afterwards. I think our companion animals can be affected by our emotions. My Grey always was tuned it to whatever I was feeling. And I know our Greyhound now is upset if we have an argument.

My African Grey would always coo and come over to me when I was sad or crying. I believe they are very in tune to our emotions, however they would not want us to stay in a relationship that was not right for us. I believe they also can feel tension and the tension wouls be more confusing to them then the sadness. They might believe with the tension that we are upset with them. JMHO.

I'm so sorry. Yes, I'm sure your birds can feel your emotions - but they (like you) will live through this. Hopefully, spending time with them will relax you and help you feel better about this.

my creamino is always staring at me... maybe she's wondering why i have a sad face... hope this tradegy won't affect them... i still have the pain inside my heart...
