My Niece Dusti makes the best Buttermilk Pie and she shared this recipe with me.. it's really good and simple to make. Anyone who loves custard and simple pies will so enjoy this one.


Buttermilk Pie

1/2 c. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 rounded Tbsp. flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1 t. vanilla,
dash of nutmeg

Have butter soft. Add sugar & cream together well. Add flour and eggs, beat well.
Stir in buttermilk, vanilla & nutmeg. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 40 - 50 min. at 350� F.
Cool completely before serving.
