Hi everone, I'm new to this game only been crocheting for a year and all i've been able to do is blankets. So came online and was amazed with the amount of things you can crochet. Got some patterns for beginners and couldn't read them!! But have managed a scarf for my 6 year old and a poncho that looks like a skirt!! for my 8 year old both of them were delighted of course!! I think EVA will let you know where you can go to find > Reading Patterns and understanding stitches. The sites I had , are NOT working.

Thank you for your warm welcome. Look forward to talking to you all about all my mistakes!! My poncho/skirt pattern was one I made up myself. As if I was making a blanket but made a circle and then sort of added bits on. Can I post a picture? Give you all a laugh if nothing else!!

Would really appreciate if you could let me know where to look for the reading patterns and understanding stitches. I've printed off a few pages about single and double stitches but not sure about the rest of the pattern afraid it's a bit double dutch just now.
