Cannot find a replacement bra for the top to the bathing suit. My breasts are smaller than the bra-top. Any suggestions? <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> [color:"pink"] [/color]

what kind of top is it? if it is a self bra you can cut the in side of both sides and roll it up or cut it across the elastic and sew it back together but is it is a bra bra then you have to cut the seem that goes across the cup and cut out however much from the tpo part then resew it. this would only apply if the bra is covered by the rest the bathing suit and not the suit itself!!!

OH sorry i miss read your looking for a new top not fix one!!! depending on you size you can shop in the jr or teen area and find smaller cup sizes but if your like me and to big around and old for those styles you can find catologs and special order the right size shape style and color!!! I think I understand what you are saying (I've never been a sewing genius....): Remove the BIG cups only and cut them to the right size for me and sew them back in??? (By hand, I'm thinking.)

What I did yesterday was go to a Goodwill store and bought a bra w/waterproof fillers (inside the bra cups) and I'm thinking I may be able to cut the cups out of that bra and replace the "big bazoom" cups with what I bought. One reply I got made sense too. I completely remove the cups in the swim suit bra, cut them on the outside edge to fit me, and sew them back in. One way or the other I'm going swimming in October on the beach. I'm 71 and I'm tired of being self-conscience about my ugly body.
