Now since Eva has straightened me out on how to follow a pattern, I am getting ambitious!
I saw the prettiest poncho/shawl in the window at a store called White House/Black Market in our mall. I looked on their website to see if it was in their catalog, but I could not find a photo.
It is a white poncho(?) that falls just below the waist, making it 3/4 length sleeve length on the arm. It is just a pretty round neck for about 1 inch then it is the pineapple stitch repeated until the bottom, ending with a beautiful scalloped edge (as a result of the pineapple pattern). It appears to be made out of a fine yarn such as cashmere.
Anyone seen a pattern such as this? If I was experienced enough in crochet, I would design one myself. The top is beautiful!
