Help! I have crocheted some in the past, and am having difficulties following this wonderful pattern that Eva has so kindly posted on this site.
The instructions end at the beginning of row 3. The pattern calls for a 4 space increase per row.
I looked through the tutorials on the site and could not find information on increasing and on continuting patterns. (All of the items I completed in the past have had the instructions down to the last stitch.)
The instructions for the Childs Poncho ends at Row 3. It has you ch 1, 3 dc in next ch 1 space,5 times.
The instructions say to repeat Row 2 for pattern.
Do I start at the beginning of Row 2 instructions? Do I start at the *? Are the increases automatically figured in the pattern, or do I have to add those in?
When I get to Row 4 and subsequent rows, do I increase the number of ch 1 3 dc in next ch 1 space from 5 to ...?
As you can tell, I am lost!
My 6 year old keeps asking me if I have finished her poncho yet! Please help me so I will not disappoint her!
Thank you!
