Is there a way to take back something I've said to someone, or am I kind of screwed? I said something horrible to someone tonight, and I didn't really mean it; I was angry (I'm still working on getting control of my emotions). There must be a way to balance it out!! Help!!

Thanks,
Rose

How about saying exactly what you typed here....

I screwed up and let my anger get ahead of my mouth and I am sorry for what I said, that is not what I meant.

Have a blessed day-

Will that erase the Karmic debt that I've created, though?

In my oppinoin, I think sincerity goes a long way too but words are meaningless unless you show that you mean it for example i could call Fiona a name say Im sorry i didnt mean that and never say it again and she may forgive me but in the same right i could say im sorry and turn around and callher the same thing or worse and she woud not forgive me or at lest she should not!!! You friend will understand that you were upset and for give you and so will the powers that be!!!!

Fiona, sorry for picking on you but your post was handy and i was too lasy to find some one else to pick on!!!

Owning your actions goes for a lot, and taking responsibility is the best way to learn how not to do it again.

Karma is all about learning lessons. You can learn from your mistake & move forward <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

We have all been in that boat where we wish we could swallow our words and take them back.

All you can do is ring them, apologise and be humble.

no worries freebubbles

sincereity is more than just saying you are sorry. Its about really BEING sorry and being willing to own up to what you did and try to make it right. I think that this kind of heartfeeling is what makes something sincere... and that is what I meant by sincerety goes a long way.
