Hey everyone,
I currently have hair that looks like this (but about 5 inches longer):

I am thinking of getting my hair cut... I enjoy having it longer (long enough to ponytail easily & without extra pins), and I didn't think the style in that picture looked very good on me... does anyone have a suggestion for a new style for me?

Some background info: I play guitar in a rock band and I'm an accountant and computer geek... so yeah nothing too outlandish and nothing too boring haha. I'm also crazy-low-maintenance... no hair dryer, no curling iron, so keep that in mind as well.

Thanks for your help! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I would think of a Bob. It doesn't make you look like a geek, is quite handy to keep in shape and form and makes you look nicer. It's also not much work if it's cut right by the hairdresser.

How much are you into computers anyway?

Greetings,

Isa has a good idea.

You could also keep the length and add layers. If they are cut well, all you have to do is flip your head upside down and blow it dry. Comb it with your fingers or brush it. You will have more fullness and a mor 'fun' style.

Also, what sort of bob? There are tons of styles... any pictures?

Lynne:
I am thinking about layers... I used to have them but they got really shaggy... so I let them grow out hehe.

Thanks to both of you for your ideas!

Well, I did decide to go with some longer layers. I like it, and will be buying a hairdryer to make them look pretty. heheh <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Lynne, I absolutely loved one of the bob pics, but my bangs aren't long enough yet to make it look as I'd prefer... the one I'm referring to is: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art39374.asp

And so, here is the final result: (the excitement builds!)

Thanks again to both of you! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
