Spinner-knitter or spinner-weaver?

I'm a spinner-knitter. One of my friends is a spinner-weaver and we have a healthy round of "trash talk" between us about which is better.

I still maintain that a loom won't fit in a supermarket checkout line so being a spinner-knitter scores one for portability. Not to mention handspindling!

She refuses to acknowledge the superior combination! Silly woman. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I'm both, but I've been knitting since I was nine (many many years. Never mind how many ;-)...) and I'm a beginner at spinning and weaving.

I love it all, but I'm really slow at knitting. Need to work on that because it produces such wonderful things.
