I have always been jealous of all you girls who find wonderful things at the thrift store... well until yesterday ..

here is what i nabbed....



i got all this lovely yarn for 3 dollars a skein... so i paid 81 dollars for it .. then of course i had to see just how much i saved .. so when i got home i looked it all up... and i would have paid 275 for this lot of stuff had i bought it fromt he LYS..

SCORE for me !!

Girl wish I could find yarn for good prices. Once in a while get a great ebay deal.
I get to buy yarn once in a while and what I buy has to last, and last, and last. *smile*
I'll start checking out the papers for yard sales but with winter coming there's not going to be to many of those.
Pray I get some goodies.

Weeeeeeeeeee!! I am one of the lucky "of the yarn"ers!! I have only been crocheting for a few months, but I have TONS of yarn!! I presently have 4 duffle bags and a box full of yarn, I keep buying it like crazy, its like I can't stop! I buy off ebay, at our local walmart, at yard sales, online.. the funny thing is, I only have 3 hooks.. G, J, K. lol

i have hooks and more hooks! probably 3 or 4 of each size. that's so i can have many WIPS and i can leave the hook with the project. 'cause if i don't i will surely forget which hook i was using when i get back to that project. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I am the same way, butterfly... with both crochet hooks and circular knitting needles. When I'm ready to start another of my favorite afghans, I just run down and buy another P hook.

Trouble is that as I have been going through all my WIPs, I have no idea what it was I was making! A gremlin seems to have gone through everything and removed the patterns from the bags!!! EEK!
