One tattoo is all I have. Not nearly enough to talk to the Large & Lovely readers about. So I went to the best source I know, Rae Schwarz. If you don't already know Rae she has been the Body Art Editor at BellaOnline since August 2002. The thirty-nine-year-old writer and web designer from Seattle Washington has a little knowledge about the subject. She stopped counting her tattoos when the background was added joining many of them.

How many tattoos do you have? One.

What kind of tattoos do you have? Two hearts on the inside of my ankle.

Do you plan on getting more? I have a plan to get two more. One more on my big toe and one on my lower back.

Watch out for those foot and toe tattoos, Moe. They can be really painful as there are so many nerves and so little padding. Then again, ankles are pretty close in tissue and bone composition, so you probably have a good idea of what you are in for.

I didn't mind the ankle one so much. But now that you mention it, my toes are kind of boney. I'll have to practise my deep breathing exercise prior. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

What kind of tattoos do you have? I have a native american symbol, hearts with my husband and daughter's names, and a hummingbird on my back. I have 2 dragons, a unicorn with castle background, a flower vine, two butterflies, two characters from the movie Fern Gully on my breasts/chest. How many tattoos do you have? 12

What kind of tattoos do you have? I have a black cat, a knotwork snake in red, yellow, and black, and a realistic little brown bat on my lower right arm. I have a greyscale praying mantis, a knotwork tortoise in grey, blue and black, and a realistic blue ringed octopus on my lower left arm. I have a celtic lion in red and yellow on my left ankle and a celtic horse in grey and blue on my right ankle. On my back I have a triscle of cats on my left shoulder, and one of ravens on my right. My back is dominated my the celtic tree of life and on my top vertabrae I have the one in my avatar. All the ones on my back are black.

Do you plan on getting more? In October I have an appointment to get an ultra realistic crested gecko stradling behind my ear and skull. I also have an appointment to start getting my back filled in with bright fractal designs. After my back is done, we are moving to my half-sleeves. They will be the same picture of the Castle Moil on the Isle of Sky but one nightime and one daytime. After that we move to my legs. One will be an Caribbean reef with a sunken ship and moray eel and one will probably be a East coast decidous forest.

What kind of tattoos do you have? large dragonfly on my left calf; hibiscus on my right ankle; fairy on my upper left back; and, yes, a sun on my lower back - In my own defense, I got this one 12 years ago, before lower back tattoos became a trend :-)

Do you plan on getting more? You bet - these things are addictive! I am working with my favorite tattooist to design a custom 1/4 sleeve for my right arm.

What kind o f tattoos do you have? It's a tribal phoenix (the chinese variety that's more dragon than bird).
