I came home from vacation and found one of my girls looking sick. Her sides are all bloated up, although her scales aren't sticking up. she's behaving normally, all that's different is her puffy sides.

Sounds like maybe she was just fed too much. If she's behaving normally, and scales aren't sticking up, I would wait a day or two and see if it goes down. Maybe reduce the amount you feed her until it goes away. If she develops any new symptoms let us know asap. Some good resources for fish illness are:
