I am Diet Dr. Pepper's most valuable customer, and while they are in no danger now, I'll warn you guys if I ever decide to give up caffeine (their stock price is sure to fall) LOL.

i know i drink a 3 liter of diet coke per day and then some!!! plus smoke a lest 6 cigs.

I recently gave up caffeine and I drank lots of water. You need to make sure you are staying hydrated if you are giving up caffeine as I read somewhere that being dehydrated contributes to the bad sypmtoms. I had a teeny headache for two days and that was it. Before I had stopped drinking/eating caffeine and I had the most miserable hangover-like symptoms.

Trying to break my caffeine habit has been one of the hardest things I have tried to do! After 26 years of drinking alcohol and "partying" I just up and quit those 10 years ago without any problems, but I can't quit drinking Cokes!

I am overweight and I KNOW that my terrible Coke habit is the main cause of it. I stopped drinking them for about 6 months in 1997 and lost 35 pounds without changing any other of my eating habits.

I know they are aalso destructive on our bones and teeth.
