Hi! I am kind of new to crocheting. Does anyone know where I can find free patterns for crochet afghans..........using single and double crochet stitch. I am not anxious to try anything too difficult.

Hi Greta, just give a look at this site, you may find something you want to make.
You can do some nice Afghans with sc and dc.
It's just a matter of how those stitches are arranged.
