Okay, I've FINALLY watched the BBC version of
Pride and Prejudice. An anon commenter told me once to get it at Blockbuster, but as I do not live in the States, that's not an option. And my library never has it. Finally, a friend let me borrow it. I've spent the past 3 days watching it.
So now, having seen both movies (this version and the most recent one), I can say that I LOOOOOOVE Colin Firth (always have), but I also liked Matthew McFadyen's Darcy. They both portray him quite differently, and I think I like each portrayal equally well.
So...here's the debate. Which one do you think is best? (I have a hunch who will win this one, but I want to see this play out). <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Also, a Jane Austen related tidbit - The Jane Austen Centre is looking for people to participate in their Regency Promenade on the first day of the Jane Austen festival in September, which takes place in Bath.
