There is all this talk about Jessica Simpson and her crocheted wares. Where does she get them? Has anyone thought of asking her?

Just curious.

Good idea! I think I'll send off an email and see what happens.
By-the-way, you have really nice items on your site.

I've been looking around to see if there is a way to contact her or someone associated with her but no luck so far. I tried her record label and MTV.

I read that her sister Ashlee made the headband scarf for her and as for her shawls Cecilia de Bucourt is the one who made them. She is no longer making them but you can purchase them at http://www.luxuryfashion.com/

The cornmeal one Jessica Simpson wears is made of Cotton and the multi-colored one she also has is made of Silk.

Yes, the prices for the shawls are quite high. eek I think the same look can be achieved with a ribbon yarn, or even a gauzy fabric. It could happen!!!

Yes it could, It just so happens that I received a catalog from Webs and they are currently having a sale on the Glace 1lb cones for $39.99 which is a pretty good deal www.yarn.com
