I absolutely agree with you. Tea has been a savior. I am trying to not eat low-carb chocolate or sweets. As an alternative, I drink tea. In the afternoon I like Lemon Zinger from Celestial Seasoning. I absolutely love sleepytime at night. I do like chamomile and vanilla maple as well. Of course, all of these are caffeine free. I put a little bit of Hood low-carb milk and a little bit of Spelnda. The tea effectively curbs cravings and fools your mind into thinking you ate something sweet.

That's a very good idea. Definitely, training yourself not to eat chocolates and sweets is incredibly healthy. If you don't crave chocolate, then you won't be likely to cheat and eat "sugary chocolate" if you're out somewhere. If you really learn to enjoy raspberries for example, that's a healthy treat you can find pretty much anywhere.
It's a shame that restaurants rarely have "fruit plates" as a dessert - they're always things like 8-layer-super-sugar-filled-chocolate-calories

I recently discovered Scandinavian crispbread. It is delicious, extremely low in carbs and provides all the fiber I need in my diet. Just smear some sour cream or add a slice of cheese and I'm good for hours. Especially if I drink water with it-it make the fiber swell in your stomach and make you feel (and be) full. Try it! http://www.brancrispbread.com/about_us.html

Don't forget you can use cucumber slices, too! Fiber is good for you, but it's also good to have nutritious items as well. So sometimes go for fiber - and sometimes go for the vitamins.

In Atlanta at least a few if not all are catching on to the idea! I've been to several in Atlanta that gives you a choice of a fruit and cheese plate as either a salad course, or can be offered later in the day as dessert course.
I don't think the major services change that much, it is more about how things will be served - read how will Big management react! I say if big management finds most of its customers cozy and drinking tea and nibbling away on fruit and cheese platters - then I would think this isn't much of a problem - from a businessman's POV. eh?

That's great to hear, Michelle! In Europe having a cheese or fruit plate as dessert is very common. I imagine that's part of why they are more slender than US people are Fruit and cheese both have nutrients in them, while I don't know that you can say the same thing for a block of chocolate cake

Hunster - welcome to the forum!
Induction is about cutting out certain types of foods from your diet for 2 weeks in order to help you see if you're allergic to them. Many adults develop allergies to wheat, dairy and nuts - so by removing those for 2 weeks, and then adding them back in slowly, you can see if you have those allergies.
So for that reason, I'd really stay away from tortillas of any kind for these 2 weeks. I know that I personaly have developed allergies to wheat (mild ones - just causes some bloating) and that several friends of mine had much more serious ones that they never realized. You just think "Oh my body is heavy" or whatever and never realize it's a food allergy that you are constantly experiencing. So it's really worth it to do this for 2 weeks to learn how your own body is reacting to these foods.
Putting things like cheese on cucumbers is a great substitute - or just eating the tuna fish or egg salad on a plate with a salad - can get you by for these 2 weeks. Also try wrapping things in a slice of turkey - that's good for you and relatively non-oily.
