I had the Novasure procedure early April of this year for very heavy bleeding and 10 day periods. The first 2 months after the procedure my cycle was somewhat better. However the last 2 months I have had one day (my second day of my period) that was pretty heavy bleeding and my period has lasted for 14 days minimum. Where do I go from here? Hysterectomy is the very last choice I have. I had a mjor heart attack last September and another episode in February. I need my hormones for my heart. Any answers to help with all this bleeding. I cannot enjoy going anywhere for the first 3-4 days of my cycle.

Sorry to read about your procedure not working so well. I just had it done last Thursday and will keep my fingers crossed that it works.

Hi. I doesn't work for everyone but I have a good number of patients who have had a great outcome. I would say approximately 90%. Its a great procedure.
